AI visibility diagnosis
The number everything later gets compared against.
A baseline is the first full measurement: a fixed set of your customers' real questions, run across every platform we cover, with what happened recorded verbatim. It is the only thing that makes a later claim of improvement checkable.
It has to be taken before anything is changed, which is what makes it a baseline rather than a snapshot: every later round is compared against this one, so a shift in the numbers can be attributed to the work instead of to when it happened to be measured.
What is actually handed over.
Everything listed here is a thing you can look at, not a status update.
The question set
15–30 questions in your customers' own wording, covering awareness, comparison and decision intent. Frozen for the engagement.
Per-platform results
Mention rate on each platform, never averaged into one number.
The full answers
Every answer recorded verbatim, so any number in the report can be traced back.
Competitor names and cited domains
Who else appears, and which sources the answers lean on — this list is what the content plan is built from.
Site readability findings
Crawler access, rendering and structured data problems found while checking your own domain.
Four steps, in this order.
Order matters — each step produces what the next one needs.
Questions teams ask before they start
How long does the diagnosis take?
Usually under a week from receiving your question list. Most of the elapsed time is collecting real customer wording from your team, not the measurement itself.
Can we do this ourselves?
Yes, and we publish the method so you can. The parts people get wrong are freezing the question set, running each question more than once, and recording mention context separately from mention count.
Who supplies the questions?
You do, from sales and support records; we structure them into a set covering awareness, comparison and decision intent. Questions produced by a keyword tool measure a different thing and are not used here.
Can the question set be changed later?
Not during the service period. Changing it invalidates every comparison against earlier rounds. Where new questions must be added — a new product line, a new market — the original set continues to run alongside them.
How many competitors are tracked?
However many appear. We record every other brand named in the same answer rather than working from a supplied competitor list, because the set of brands a model treats as alternatives often differs from the one a company expects.
Is the diagnosis really free?
Yes, and the report is yours whether or not you sign. A baseline that only exists after a contract cannot serve as a baseline, so there is no version of this that works as a paid step.
What does the baseline not tell us?
It records the current state; it does not forecast platform behaviour, explain a competitor's commercial strategy, or establish how much work will close a given gap. That last one comes from the source plan, which is the next stage.
