We published GEO pages for nine industries, each describing the constraints that actually apply there.
The differences are real
Regulated sectors have explicit limits on what may be claimed. Local services face nearby-type questions answered from a very short candidate list. Machinery buyers ask specification questions that behave more like technical lookups.
Regulated sectors state what is not possible
The healthcare and legal pages spend most of their length on what cannot be claimed. Beyond the legal requirement, models themselves answer these categories more conservatively and favour institutional sources. What still works: credentials with issuing bodies, process and duration, scope and referral boundaries, and published limits.
Setting the expectation early
In these categories a commercial source is cited less often than an institutional one. The realistic goal is to be the commercial source that gets cited when one is — stating that upfront prevents a normal result from being read as failure.
