FAQPage is the structured data type for question-and-answer content. It tells a model explicitly which text is a question and which text answers it.
Why it matters
A question paired with a complete answer is the cheapest possible material for a generative engine to reuse, which makes FAQ blocks one of the highest-citation content formats.
How it is used
Write answers that stand alone: no "see above", no "contact us for details", two to four sentences, specific.
