Definition
A semantic keyword group is a set of questions that require the same underlying material to answer. "Which provider is reliable" and "how do I choose a provider" belong in one group; "how much does it cost" belongs in another.
Why it matters
Grouping by required material rather than by wording is what makes content planning efficient — one well-built piece of material can serve an entire group.
How it is used
Semantic keyword groups are also the usual unit of pricing in a GEO engagement, because they are the unit of work.
